If you can’t join us for Simulcast in Dallas or Utica, hosting a party for your team and prospective Consultants is a great idea. It’s fun, gives you a chance to network and catch up, and helps build team spirit. Here are a few tips to help your Simulcast Watch Party be a big success.
Get Guest Registered
Remember, to receive credit for attending Simulcast, all your guests need to register. You’ll want to have some extra devices on hand so guests can sign in on computers, phones or tablets on the Simulcast streaming page. Make sure some of your team bring spare devices so nobody has to wait in line to sign in.
An Early Start
Have your guests arrive early. That will give them time to mingle, enjoy refreshments and settle in. You may want to plan an on-site training, or recognize Consultants who have recently promoted or reached an important milestone such as recruiting their first Consultant or joined the Comma Club.
Make sure you’re ready to stream. Your computer will require an Internet connection with at least 2.5 Mbps. If you’re using a mobile device, we recommend using a Wi-Fi connection with at least 2 Mbps capacity.
Streaming to a big screen, projector TV or flat screen is just like streaming a movie. You’ll need to use a separate device for each screen, and use a different log-in on the devices, such as one of your guest’s. You can also stream wirelessly using Chromecast or Apple TV.
Location, Location, Location
Pick the right venue for the number of guests you have. Whether it’s your home, a hotel meeting room or an Ambit training center, be sure everyone on your team will have a good view of the event and plenty of space to interact and share information.
Practice Makes Perfect
Do a dry run. Make sure all your connections are good. Ambit will start streaming a test loop video at X:00 a.m. on January 30 so you can test your signal. Don’t wait until the last second to try and set everything up, because you don’t want to miss a minute of Simulcast!
With your help and leadership, we look forward to a great Simulcast 2016.
